Pharr Historical Commission
The Historical Commission constitutes a part of the Comprehensive Plan of the City. It is composed of a minimum of five (5) members appointed by the city council for a term of three (3) years with a maximum of two (2) reappointments. All members shall be residents of the City and should have a knowledge and experience in the architectural, cultural, social, economic, ethnic or political history of the city. No one business or professional interest shall constitute a majority membership of the Commission.
